The final instalment in the "Sparkle Rock" series is a manic doozy. It begins with an interstellar instrumental made up of beaming high-pitched electric guitars. The middle section is an exercise in psychedelic recyclage. The drums from "Your Favourite Toy(Twittermix)" reappear in "ZY". A sample of the latter recorded thru the laptop speaker is looped and layered with overdubs to create "Just Peachy". The same process is repeated with the next two songs. It's the audio equivalent of making copies of copies with a Xerox Machine; the original image eventually distorts into a new one, albeit with overdubs. A short surrealist chanson with a title from a dream provides pause from the sonic experimentation. A freaky New Orleans jaunt picks up the pace again, and a couple songs later, a return to ethereal guitars sets sail for the ether.
